St Bede’s Catholic College is a staged secondary education development located in Chisholm, NSW, delivered for the Catholic Diocese of Maitland–Newcastle. Designed by SHAC Architects, the campus is structured around a central circulation spine, connecting a series of learning, administration, and shared facilities across a growing site.
FC Glass & Aluminium contributed to the project through the supply and installation of glazing systems across multiple stages of the development. The scope included aluminium-framed windows, doors, and glazing elements integrated throughout teaching spaces, circulation areas, and shared facilities.
Working within an active construction environment and staged delivery program, the project required coordination with builders and consultants to align glazing installations with evolving site conditions. Systems were installed to meet architectural specifications, ensuring consistency across each stage while maintaining compliance with performance and safety standards.
The design of the college emphasises natural light, visibility, and connection between internal and external spaces. Glazing plays a key role in achieving this, supporting open learning environments and clear sightlines across the campus. Installations were delivered with attention to durability, functionality, and integration with surrounding materials and structural elements.
St Bede’s Catholic College reflects FC Glass & Aluminium’s capability to deliver glazing solutions on large-scale education projects, working across staged builds and coordinating closely with project stakeholders to achieve consistent, compliant outcomes.
